Three Flowers, and the Water Runs Down the Edge
The water follows the curve rather than falling off it. Each flower form spirals, so the rim is not a flat circle but a line that turns as it descends, and the water leaving the mouth runs along that turning edge all the way down instead of dropping clear. What you get is three moving lines following three spirals, which is a different thing entirely from a tiered fountain.
That also makes it quiet. Water in contact with a surface the whole way makes far less noise than water falling through air, so this is a piece for looking at rather than for covering road noise.
