The bear is walking rather than posing. Head lowered and turned forward, shoulders dropped, one foreleg ahead of the other. It reads as an animal caught mid stride rather than an ornament placed on a lawn.
Fur is cut into the surface in directional strokes that follow the body, denser at the shoulder and along the flank. At a few feet it catches light the way a real coat does, which is what separates a sculpted animal from a smooth cast one.
