One Bear Reaching, One Cub Climbing After It
The two bears are doing different things, which is what makes this work. One is reaching up for the hive. The other is climbing the trunk behind it, trying to get there first. That is a scene with a moment in it rather than two animals arranged on a fountain, and it is what people notice when they come close.
The water works down three stepped basins through the stump, and the finish is bark texture in buff and moss tones with the figures painted. Painted rather than left as flat cast resin, which on a piece this size is the whole difference between charming and cheap.
