A wishing well with a working water feature — the crossbeam, rope detail, and hanging bucket are all there, with water flowing from the top and cascading down through the bucket formation back into the base. At 39" tall this is the tallest fountain in the Farmhouse series, and the well frame gives it a silhouette that reads differently from every angle: the crossbeam from the side, the bucket and rope detail from the front.
The faux wood resin construction is the practical reason to choose this over a real wood version. Actual wood outdoors eventually cracks, warps, and rots — this resin captures the same wood grain texture and warm tones without any of those maintenance problems. Does the bucket actually move?
No. The bucket is a fixed sculpted element — water flows from the spout at the top of the well frame, runs through the bucket-shaped channels in the design, and returns to the base reservoir. The movement is in the water, not the bucket itself.
How do I care for it in winter?
The rot-proof resin handles cold weather well, but before the first hard frost drain the reservoir completely and bring the pump indoors to store. The fountain itself can stay outside covered with a waterproof tarp. This protects the pump — the most vulnerable component — without requiring you to move the whole fountain.
