Setup, Care, and Warranty

Set it on a level, solid surface, fill the reservoir, and plug it in. One person, a few minutes, no plumbing and nothing to bury. Check that it sits flat before switching it on, because a tilt sends water past a pot rim instead of into it.
Route the cord along a bed edge or a wall rather than across the path, and look at the spot after dark before you settle on it.
Daily care and winter storage
Keep enough water in the reservoir to cover the pump so it never runs dry, and check more often in heat and wind. Clear leaves out of the pots, since a leaf across a rim will divert the flow and you will hear the change before you see it.
Before freezing weather, drain it completely, disconnect and store the pump, and dry the pots. At 13 pounds it comes inside in one trip and stores in a corner of the garage.

Where will it look most natural?
A gravel bed beside the porch, a bend in a garden path, the edge of a cabin style patio, or tucked among ferns, hostas, and ornamental grass. Natural stone and loose planting help the trunk settle into the bed instead of sitting on top of it. What it needs is a setting with some wildness in it.
Is it a large garden centerpiece?
No. At 23.6 inches it holds its own beside a bench or a porch step and fits a small deck corner, but out on an open lawn it will look lost. For a piece that carries a whole yard, choose a taller tiered fountain.
Is the light warm or cool?
