Sixteen and a half pounds at thirty nine inches is the lightest floor fountain we sell, and for some people that decides it. You carry it out with one hand. You move it three times in an afternoon while you work out where it looks right. You bring it in for winter without asking anybody.
The form is a hollow trunk with a split running down the front, and the water works down four pools set inside the hollow rather than over the outside of the piece. That means the interesting part is recessed. From the front you look into a lit channel. From the side it is a plain weathered trunk, which is the right behavior for something meant to sit against a fence.
The bark is weathered with mossy tones worked into the grain, and the warm light sits down in the interior pools, so after dark the split glows and the trunk goes to silhouette around it.

Front on, against something. The split is the whole piece and you see it from the front only, so a fence, a wall, a hedge or a corner behind it is right. It is narrow enough for a balcony, a side return or the gap beside a door. At sixteen pounds it will move in real wind, so keep it out of an exposed corner and let the water weight settle it. Level ground matters, because four pools inside a narrow channel show a tilt as water running to one edge.
