Forty Two Inches Tall on a Base Barely a Foot Square
The useful number here is not the height, it is the footprint. Forty two and a half inches of fountain standing on a base roughly a foot square means it fits places a tiered piece cannot go. A balcony corner, the narrow side return between house and fence, the end of a deck, the space beside a door where a wide bowl would block the path.
The design runs a tipped urn at the top pouring into a carved bowl, which spills into the next, and finally into a large urn set at the base. All of it in terracotta tones with chevron and banded carving cut into the clay surfaces, against a gray block column with mortar lines. Warm against cool, which is what makes it read from across a yard instead of blending into the wall behind it.
After dark the light comes from inside the bowls rather than from outside, so the carved bands catch the edge of it and the pouring water glows warm. It is a small footprint fountain that still does something at night.
