The Top Bowl Holds Soil, Not Water
Every fountain ends up with planting around it, because a fountain alone in a paved corner looks marooned. This one has the planting built in. The top bowl takes soil and holds a real plant, and it is sealed off from the water system below, so the roots are not sitting in the reservoir and the pump is not drawing soil.
Underneath it two terracotta toned bowls step down a gray stone base, with cool white light in each of them, so the water part of the piece is at eye level when you are seated and the greenery is above it.
Twenty three and a half inches on an eleven inch square, thirteen and a quarter pounds. It is small, and the planter is what makes the small size work, because you can grow the height you want on top of it rather than buying a taller fountain.

Keeping This Planter Fountain in Good Order
